Marina Gross is the founder and principal of The College Mentor located in Newton, MA.  She began by guiding her own two daughters through the admissions process (Brown University Class of 2015 and 2017). Soon, she was leading countless kids of family and friends through the process as well. Marina founded The College Mentor in order to reach an even wider range of students and families. Harnessing skills acquired as an MBA and seasoned sales professional, Marina assists students in presenting their best, authentic selves to college admissions committees.

Marina holds an MBA in marketing from Northeastern University, an Independent Educational Consultant Certificate from UC Irvine, and is a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association.  She understands how important it is to keep up with the ever-changing admissions landscape and stays current by visiting college campuses, attending conferences, and monitoring industry updates on the daily basis.
